Short Description of the Tutorial

Argumentation technology is a rich interdisciplinary area of research that, in the last two decades, has emerged as one of the most promising paradigms for commonsense reasoning and conflict resolution in a great variety of domains.

Unlike the 2015 tutorial, which was meant to provide an extensive theoretical description of ongoing research, this tutorial aims to equip PhD students, early-stage researchers, and experts from different AI areas with a clear understanding of argumentation in AI and with a set of tools they can start using to advance the field.
